How you can pay
- Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards
- Bank transfer for bookings over USD 5,000
Currency
Our prices and card charges are in US dollars. If your card is in another currency, your card issuer converts the amount and may add a fee.
Keeping your card safe
- You enter your card details on our bank's secure payment page, not on our website.
- Payments use 3-D Secure, so your bank may ask you to confirm the payment in its app or with a code.
- We never ask for your card number or any PIN by phone, email or WhatsApp.
When you are charged
You pay the deposit (30%, plus the permit cost on gorilla and chimp trips), or the full amount if you prefer, through the payment link we email with your invoice. Your booking is confirmed once payment is received. The balance is due 30 days before you travel: pay it from the payment link we email. Day tours and bookings made within 30 days of travel are paid in full. Technology services for travel businesses are invoiced and paid by bank transfer.
On your statement
Card payments appear on your statement as LIPA TRAVELS LIMITED, KAMPALA. If you don't recognise a charge, email info@lipatravels.global.
