Day by day

  1. Day 1Arrive in Dubai and transfer to a five-star beach hotel.
  2. Day 2Private guide: Al Fahidi, an abra across the Creek and the gold and spice souks, then Burj Khalifa at sunset.
  3. Day 3Morning at the Museum of the Future. Afternoon 4x4 drive in the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve with dinner at a desert camp.
  4. Day 4Drive to Abu Dhabi for the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
  5. Day 5Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Watan, then the beach on Saadiyat Island.
  6. Day 6Fly to Muscat. Evening on the Mutrah Corniche and in the souk.
  7. Day 7Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and the Royal Opera House, then a boat trip along the coast.
  8. Day 8Drive to Nizwa for the fort and souk, then up to a resort on Jebel Akhdar.
  9. Day 9Walk through the terraced villages of Jebel Akhdar, then drive to a luxury camp in the Wahiba Sands.
  10. Day 10Drive to Muscat airport for onward flights.
