Day by day
- Day 1Arrive in Tokyo and transfer to the hotel. Evening walk around Shinjuku.
- Day 2Guided day in Tokyo: Senso-ji in Asakusa, Meiji Jingu, Harajuku and the Shibuya crossing.
- Day 3Free day in Tokyo for Akihabara, Ginza or the Tsukiji Outer Market.
- Day 4Train to Hakone. Lake Ashi boat, the Owakudani ropeway and views of Mount Fuji when the sky is clear. Night in a ryokan-style inn.
- Day 5Shinkansen from Odawara to Kyoto. Afternoon at Fushimi Inari shrine.
- Day 6Kinkaku-ji, the Arashiyama bamboo grove and an evening walk in Gion.
- Day 7Day trip to Nara for Todai-ji temple, Nara Park and Kasuga Taisha shrine.
- Day 8Transfer to Kansai International Airport for departure.
