Serengeti river crossings fly-in

Northern Serengeti, Tanzania

Runs from July to October: fly from Arusha to Kogatende in the northern Serengeti and spend three days by the Mara River as the wildebeest herds cross.

Day by day

  1. Day 1Arrive at Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to Arusha for the night.
  2. Day 2Fly from Arusha to Kogatende. Afternoon game drive along the Mara River.
  3. Days 3–4Full days by the Mara River, waiting at the crossing points, with picnic lunches. Crossings depend on the herds.
  4. Day 5Morning game drive, then fly back to Arusha.
