Day by day

  1. Day 1Arrive in Prague. Evening walk across Charles Bridge.
  2. Day 2Prague Castle, St Vitus Cathedral, the Old Town Square and the astronomical clock.
  3. Day 3Train to Vienna, about four hours. Evening walk along the Ringstrasse.
  4. Day 4Schönbrunn Palace, St Stephen's Cathedral and the Naschmarkt.
  5. Day 5Train to Budapest, about two and a half hours. Evening cruise on the Danube.
  6. Day 6Buda Castle, Fisherman's Bastion and the Parliament, then the Széchenyi thermal baths.
  7. Day 7Transfer to Budapest airport for departure.
