Five nights on a Nile cruise boat from Luxor to Aswan, with guided visits to the temples and tombs on the way and a road trip to Abu Simbel.

Day by day

  1. Day 1Board the boat in Luxor. Afternoon at Karnak and Luxor Temple.
  2. Day 2West Bank: the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Sail to Esna.
  3. Day 3Sail to Edfu for the Temple of Horus, then on to the riverside temple at Kom Ombo.
  4. Day 4Arrive in Aswan. The High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple, then a felucca sail.
  5. Day 5Early drive to Abu Simbel for the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari, back on board by mid-afternoon.
  6. Day 6Leave the boat in Aswan after breakfast and transfer to the airport or station.
