Sossusvlei and Etosha guided tour

A guided small-group tour from Windhoek to the red dunes of Sossusvlei, the coast at Swakopmund and the waterholes of Etosha National Park.

Day by day

  1. Day 1Arrive in Windhoek and transfer to a guesthouse. Short city tour.
  2. Day 2Drive south-west to Sesriem on the edge of the Namib Desert. Afternoon in Sesriem Canyon.
  3. Day 3Early drive into Sossusvlei to climb Dune 45 and walk to Deadvlei.
  4. Day 4Drive to Swakopmund via Solitaire, the Kuiseb Canyon and the Walvis Bay lagoon.
  5. Day 5Free day in Swakopmund for optional activities such as a dune tour or kayaking in Walvis Bay.
  6. Day 6Drive north to Etosha National Park. Evening at the Okaukuejo waterhole.
  7. Day 7Full day of game drives around the Etosha Pan and its waterholes.
  8. Day 8Drive back to Windhoek.
