Private Kilimanjaro climb and luxury safari
Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro and Serengeti, Tanzania
A private eight-day Lemosho climb with one guide for every two climbers and a private toilet tent, then four nights in luxury camps in Ngorongoro and the Serengeti.
Day by day
- Day 1Arrive at Kilimanjaro airport and transfer to a lodge on a coffee farm. Kit check with the lead guide.
- Day 2Drive to Londorossi Gate and walk through the forest to Mti Mkubwa camp.
- Day 3Climb out of the forest to Shira 1 camp on the Shira Plateau.
- Day 4Cross the plateau to Shira 2 camp.
- Day 5Climb to Lava Tower at about 4,600 m, then down to Barranco camp.
- Day 6Climb the Barranco Wall and continue to Karanga camp.
- Day 7Short climb to Barafu base camp. Early night.
- Day 8Summit Uhuru Peak (5,895 m) around sunrise, then descend to High camp.
- Day 9Walk down through the forest to Mweka Gate and drive back to the lodge.
- Day 10Drive to a lodge on the Ngorongoro crater rim.
- Day 11Full day in Ngorongoro Crater.
- Day 12Drive to the central Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge.
- Day 13Morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti.
- Day 14Fly from Seronera to Kilimanjaro airport for onward flights.
