Day by day

  1. Day 1Arrive in Kochi. Walk around Fort Kochi: the Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church and the Mattancherry spice market. Kathakali performance in the evening.
  2. Day 2Drive up to Munnar, stopping at the Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls.
  3. Day 3Eravikulam National Park, the tea museum and the tea estates around Mattupetty.
  4. Day 4Drive to Alleppey and board a private houseboat for a night on the backwaters, with meals cooked on board.
  5. Day 5Leave the houseboat and drive to Marari beach. Free afternoon.
  6. Day 6Transfer to Kochi airport for departure.
