Day by day

  1. Day 1Arrive in Bangkok and transfer to the hotel.
  2. Day 2Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun, with a long-tail boat ride on the Thonburi canals.
  3. Day 3Morning at Damnoen Saduak floating market. Evening at a night market in the city.
  4. Day 4Fly to Chiang Mai. Walk around the old city temples, including Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phra Singh.
  5. Day 5Thai cooking class in the morning. Afternoon at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep on the mountain above the city.
  6. Day 6Day trip to Doi Inthanon National Park: waterfalls, the twin royal pagodas and a hill-tribe market.
